Greetings,
I took up cycling about 3 years ago after hurting my back while working for USAID in Afghanistan. Last Jan/Feb I cycled the south island of New Zealand solo on my bike Friday. This January I cycled the carretera austral in Chilean Patagonia, again solo on my bike Friday. I am currently solo-cycling the great divide mountain bike ride from Mexico to Canada. When I am not cycling, I am a neuroscience instructor for the University of Arizona. My blog is a bit raw but honest.
